It is a condition of our licence agreement that all our storage customers must maintain adequate cover for the duration of their stay. Your goods can be covered whilst in storage with us by our chosen provider, Lonham Group Ltd. Lonham Group Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority however it is not a condition that your use our insurance cover and if preferred you can arrange your own cover.
UNDER INSURANCE
It is extremely important that all items placed in storage are insured for their full replacement value on a new for old basis, If you fail to declare the full replacement value of your property, in the event of a claim you will only be entitled to recover from our Insurers the proportion of the loss as the declared value bears to the total replacement value of your property. Please note that irrespective of whether or not you instruct the Facility Owner to arrange insurance for your property their liability for actual physical loss of or damage to your property whilst in store is limited by the terms of their Licence Agreement which form part of their contract with you.
Security
All of our sites have the latest security systems installed covering internal and external CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire and automatic sensor controlled lighting internally and externally. To allow access each customer is issued with their own unique PIN number that will allow access during the open hours of the building. Additionally our security systems are monitored by our own staff 24/7 ensuring an immediate response to any issues that may arise.
